For a second she didn’t say anything. For all that had happened between them he was being polite. Then again she knew the man could be polite when he wanted to. “If you think so…” Why was she doing this to herself? It was pointless, it would be better if she just left before digging herself into a hole she would not be able to crawl out of. “I have to go.”
斑—- • When she began to turn away, the elder Uchiha took a step forward, and spoke out. “Wait.” He called. “You don’t have to leave yet… Your company is– welcomed.”
Eyes narrowing she cursed at herself, coming out from where she hid, a bush. What was she supposed say? ‘Hi, long time no see.’ It didn’t feel natural, however there wasn’t much she could. “Hello Madara… I wasn’t watching you or anything, I just passed by and well… I just decided to stay and see.”
Her excuse sounded lame, and it was, but it was the best Sakura could come up with in short notice. “Good to see you too.”
斑—- • The two of them knew that it was a lame excuse but Madara didn’t feel like pointing it out. “I noticed.” He stated, taking a couple of steps closer to the pink haired woman, gazing at her with his charcoal orbs for a moment. She hadn’t changed. “It’s kind of you to stop by then.”
It had been weeks since she had last seen of him. Not that she cared anyways, after all she had used him for a silly goal that in the end did not come to fruition. She should have forgotten all about that, yet oddly enough she could not. More often than she found herself missing the man and it unsettled her.
Perhaps that was why Sakura had wondered to this side of the forest. Madara often talked about his place and that habit of his. The urge to see him was of a subconscious level, already too used to his presence around her that it felt like missing a limb.
Once she was at that place she contended herself with watching from afar. This was silly, almost idiotic but she could not help herself or her hidden desire. Se was a fool for being here and could only hope to not be noticed. Maybe she should leave, it would be best. Just as she attempted to do so, she stepped over a twig. It snapped causing much unwanted noise. She cursed silently to herself.
斑—- • The Uchiha’s eyes narrowed slightly when he suddenly felt another chakra nearby, a familiar one. Even if she tried to hide herself, it was useless against his sensor skills. But he didn’t do anything to acknowledge her presence yet since perhaps she was simply passing by the area.
But when her chakra stopped in just one area, he knew that she was actually watching him. Growing tired, he turned to the direction where she was hiding. “You can come out, Sakura. I know you’re there.”
斑—- • Falconry was something that always succeeded in distracting his mind and thoughts, and so lately, he’s been doing it more than usual. Though his falcon did not mind at all for it meant more food for him. When yet another prey was captured, Madara bagged the hare, throwing a piece of meat at his bird friend as recompense. “I think that’s enough for today. You’re going to get get fat.”
There are no words to explain, she doesn’t know how to, things simply just happened. All she ever wanted was his attention and never got it, instead she had attracted Madara and used it in order to garner his attention. Once again she was seen as nothing but annoying. “It wasn’t that enjoyable.” It was a lie, she wasn’t about admit that the time spent together affected her, but it was not enough. Her mind was clouded, her heart deluded. “This is where we part way.” Was that regret she heard in her own voice? Didn’t matter, nothing did these days.
斑—- • He was silent for a few seconds after her last sentence and then he nodded. “Alright. Try not to use too many others.” Madara was.. bitter? Perhaps that was the right word. He didn’t want this to end, even if he knows she just used him; he still enjoyed the time spent with her. “I am not sorry your plan with Sasuke didn’t work… He doesn’t deserve you.” The last words had a very gentle tone in his voice, sweet even but as soon as he said them, Madara Uchiha was gone.
“And mine to ever get close to you.” Maybe she had done it to get back at Sasuke or something, regardless she ended up getting closer to him, a man by all means she should have stayed away from. “I used you.” Whatever they had, it was warped up and misleading.
斑—- • “That is clear. Not the first time it happens either.” His mind was plagued by thoughts of a red headed woman, the only woman he had ever loved. Of course, she too had used him in her own way before marrying his best friend. It was strange, how he felt absolutely nothing, contrary to the chaos his emotions had been so many years ago. “We both used each other in our own way, blossom. I enjoyed it while it lasted.” A shame if it comes to an end now.
“Ignore them? It’s none of their business.” She could care less about what noisy people would say about her out in the streets. “Not unless you plan to step up.” Which then would probably changes a couple things.
斑—- • “Is it so simple to ignore them with who you are? What will Hashirama’s granddaughter say? I’m sure she will ask.” Madara wondered out loud. "I don’t care much for what others think of me. I’m already a villain to them all but what will it mean for you if everyone knew you are involved with me, and are expecting my child?“
“I’ll care for my child.” She had her mind set. “If you want to be part of the child’s life be my guest. I’m not going to force you to bear responsibility.” It was their mess and she should probably force him to take responsibility, but she didn’t feel like she wanted to.
斑—- • “Always the independent woman.” Madara smirked widely. It was something he did like about this girl. "If you are having the child, then I will be a part of it’s life.“ He paused. "But how will you deal with the ones asking?”
