—”I…” Amber oculars followed the movement of his hand before widening—when had she put that there? Once her eyes drifted back down she took note of his smirk, he always loved to tease her. “Well…yes..” This would be the first time she would kiss him when she wasn’t obligated to. Swallowing hard she bit down into her bottom lip almost looking to him to make the first move. “Since when have you been on for tradition?”
斑—- • He knew that his request was quite direct but he was just using the mistletoe as an excuse to try and take this marriage of theirs a little further. At her question, he shrugged.
“Our marriage itself was pretty much the product of tradition. So why not this?”
Madara asked before taking a hold of her chin in his hand, tilting it upwards and leaning down to press their lips together.
—They had gotten along better in the past few days, both we’re starting to grow accustomed to living together. She had just gotten done decorating the house with so many Christmas decorations it looked like the North Pole. Somehow it made up for her not being able to bake the perfect Christmas cookies. She had been standing in the hallway leaning against the wall, cup of hot chocolate in hand admiring her work, when she heard him.
She hadn’t kissed him since their wedding, and that was only because it had been mandatory. Spinning around to face him she quirked a brow at the male, was he teasing her for payback for what she had done to his home? “Nani..?”
斑—- • He caught her surprise and it made him smirk lightly in amusement. The male pointed up at the mistletoe above their heads and then looked back down at her once more.
“It’s tradition, isn’t it?” But truth be told, he wanted to kiss her. It was just a sudden curiosity or urge, call it whatever may, but he wanted to do it.
—She nodded, of course they needed to become better acquainted…much better acquainted before children became an option for them. She knew he wouldn’t be thrilled about his child being half Senju and Uzumaki.
“My boundaries are…that you aren’t allowed to get involved in missions or anything between my teammates. With our leave to be over soon we’ll be back out on the battlefield soon.”
There was still a war going on that she couldn’t forget about and the only reason her leave was permitted was for this wedding. She knew when she was offered leave it had to be something serious like this.
斑—- • At the mention of her own boundaries, the Uchiha simply nodded in acceptance. He’d never been interested in doing what she said and so he won’t start now.
—”Are we expected to have a family?” The Senju weren’t as prosperous as they once were, Nawaki had been the youngest. Many were older and with the war going on the younger Senju had perished in battle. Both clans were decreasing though her’s was worse off.
斑—- • Truth be told, Madara wouldn’t mind having a kid though once more, he thought his child would be a full Uchiha, one part Senju and Uzumaki thanks to her grandmother. But it will still be a powerful combination. “Eventually. But it doesn’t have to be now. We should first… get used to each other.”
—She’d be leader of the Senju one day as well as matriarch of the Uchiha clan. Politically that made her powerful. Combined with her physical traits it ranked her as the most powerful kunoichi in the village. “I see…but what is expected of us as husband and wife?”
斑—- • “I suppose we must attend to official matters together, be seen together… And all else that society requires for us to do in order to seem like a normal marriage. But what happens here in the house, that’s up to us.”
—”Is that not the point of uniting our clans?” If their clans were going to get along he couldn’t expect her to stay out of the loop. It wasn’t in her nature to stand in the background or watch from the sidelines.
斑—- • “True. But there are certain matters, such as secrets of our bloodline trait, that must be kept within Uchiha exclusively. No one else must know.” Madara stated. “Other formal matters, you are my wife and therefore, matriarch of the clan so you will get involved inevitably.
—”Boundries..” She repeated slowly mulling over her options in her head. She had zero experience when it came to men. She hadn’t even been on her first date. Now she was going to be someone’s wife. Uchiha Madara’s wife that is. It was for their clan’s sake nothing more, nothing less. Her parents and grandparents had been one of the rare few that had actually come to love each other.
Though she doubted that would be the case between them. ”What are your boundries? There are things expected of us.”
斑—- • He gave some thought to her inquiry. “I suppose my only restriction would be for you to not mess with Uchiha clan matters, and I will not mess with Senju. Other than that, I don’t have anything else. If you want to sleep together or in a separate room, eat together or not, it’s up to you”
—”Why are we in this situation again?” She huffed placing her hands upon her petite yet curvy waist. Since when did things like these come back into style? Sure her, her grandparents were in an arranged marriage—her parents had been as well. How could this improve relations between the clans?
斑—- • “I think you already know why. I’m not exactly pleased with this arrangement either but at least in my clan, it’s normal.” In fact, it took long enough though he always thought that he would marry into his clan, not into the Senju, of all people. But it was all for the sake of alliances. "Do you want to set boundaries?“
